Winter Goddess Serum

Ingredients: Raspberry Seed Oil with Orange Essential Oil

Recipe: Add the following drops to a 30ml dropper bottle:

• 30 drops of Sweet Orange Essential Oil

Then top it up with 30ml of Red Raspberry Oil.

Aroma: Fruity and uplifting

Perfect for: Use in winter to support and uplift and in summer for the UV protective aspect of Raspberry Seed Oil

Cautions: None - although it contains orange essential oil, this particular citrus essential oil is not said to have a photosensitizing effect and, added to that, our orange essential oil is cold pressed

Story behind the serum...

One cold winter I was working in an office next to Southwark Bridge in London. As anyone who has lived in London during winter can attest, the lack of sunshine can be incredibly hard on one's health. As I was a contractor, any sick days meant no pay and, as I was a mother of two children aged 9 and 12, a day at home day did not guarantee relaxation! Consequently I felt entirely justified in buying whatever food or drink I believed I needed to stay healthy. I was eating a lot of smoked salmon mousse each morning (much nicer than it might sound) and every day after work I would have a raspberry and orange juice drink. I believed I could manage without the salmon mousse (though who knows for how long) but the juice was essential,

Fast forward almost 10 years and I was playing around with some oils at home and wondering what to do with the Raspberry Seed Oil I had purchased. I thought it might be nice with a copy-cat blend of the doTerra product Citrus Bliss, however, when I tried that, it was a little too confusing and complex a scent. I then remembered my wonderful winter survival product of raspberry and orange juice and wondered how they'd work in a serum. I was delighted to find that it worked a treat. The blend is as uplifting as it is nourishing. A friend tried it and found people commented on how improved her skin looked.
