Organic Neroli Essential Oil

Fragrance: Citrusy floral scent with fresh green undertones

Botanical Name: Citrus aurantium var. amara

Emotional Effect: Calming and gently uplifting

Method of Extraction: Steam Distillation of the Flowers

Neroli is an essential oil that, in my view, really excels when it is in a blend. Although research has shown that it is helpful to reduce anxiety and alleviate symptoms of depression, personally, I find this emotional impact is much more powerful in concert with other oils.  

There are two blend recipes including Neroli which I think are great diffused. The recipe I have given here is for a 500 ml diffuser, so you can scale if your diffuser is a different size.

Uplifting Home

This is a simple blend that I find enlivens the mood of a room and home while giving it a warm and inviting feel.

• 12 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
• 9 drops of Neroli Essential Oil

Calming Strong Emotions

If your day has been a bit tough, this blend can help to calm you down and lift you up, all at the same time. 

• 4 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
• 3 drops of Neroli Essential Oil
• 2 drops of Basil Essential Oil

Like all essential oil blends, these are great for reconnecting you with nature and, thus, your nature - a great everyday tonic for everyone.
