Evening Primrose Oil is renowned for its skin healing and moisturising properties. This has been received wisdom for years and recent research has validated its antioxidant, winkle improving, and skin-moisturizing abilities. Research using a cream containing an extract from Evening Primrose Oil found it improved human skin moisturisation and reduced water loss. While we could extract things from Evening Primrose before using it, I think there's little value as the product itself is not toxic and, as just as people have accepted the frequent value of eating wholefoods, I believe that there is a value in whole constituents in skincare.

Knowing exactly how these substances work might well be beyond science, or certainly any economically viable science. However, I personally believe cultural received wisdom essentially is long term trials with safety data. There are many for Evening Primrose Oil and one I always remember is its use for dealing with Premenstrual Syndrome.  PMS is, in my view, an issue that arises when the body is out of sync with its femininity. I used to have terrible issues with this until a colleague offered me free acupuncture. I accepted, not because I thought it would work but because I am English and I didn't know how to politely refuse. I was amazed to find that, after a month, my period arrived bang on time with absolutely no pain. So, if you have issues with your periods, I really recommend acupuncture and, if you want a blend to show your body some love and appreciation for its femininity, I really recommend using Evening Primrose Oil as a base.

Due to its faint scent and viscosity, it's a great medium for bath, body and massage oils as well as facial serums and hair oils, so, if you want an oil that will support your femininity, blend into the background and heal all aspects of your body, I highly recommend this oil.
