I first came across Argan oil when it became popular in skin and hair care. Like many "of the moment" ingredients, it seemed to be everywhere and in everything, however, how much was actually in any of the products available in the shops?

While I was on holiday in Morocco I saw a small bottle of Argan oil in a market and decided to buy it. I was quite struck by its gentle fragrance and ease of use as a moisturiser. Soon afterwards, I met a woman who made an extremely effective leave-in conditioner contain Argan oil and I was surprised by how well it worked. 

I now use it in a facial cleanser as well as a simple to make leave in conditioner. It's an extremely versatile oil and I highly recommend it if you want to nourish your hair and skin.
