Balance Serum

Ingredients: Argan Oil with Essential Oils of Clary Sage. Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender and Tea Tree.

Recipe: Add the following drops to a 30ml dropper bottle:

• 5 drops of Clary Sage
• 5 drops of Frankincense
• 5 drops of Geranium 
• 5 drops of Lavender
• 5 drops of Tea Tree

Then top it up with 30ml of Argan Oil.

Aroma: Floral and cleansing

Story behind the serum... 

A friend had been to Egypt and returned raving about Prickly Pear Oil. I was keen to try it, so I immediately ordered some for experimentation. Prickly Pear Oil is known for being low-comedogenic, meaning it doesn't block pores. This struck me as the perfect combination of properties to support healing in acne prone skin, so I started looking for recipes and oils that could add to and enhance Prickly Pear Oil's qualities. I found the recipe for the Balance serum using and different carrier and thought it perfect. However, when trialing it, I discovered that, while Prickly Pear Oil is great, Argan Oil scores lower on the comedogenic scale (meaning it's even less likely to block pores) and was better. Hence, this recipe was born!
