Sleepytime 159 Bath and Body Oil

Ingredients: Jojoba Oil or Sandalwood Seed Oil with Essential Oils of Lavender, Indian Sandalwood and Vetiver.

Recipe: Add the following drops to a 100ml bottle:

• 7 drops of Lavender
• 13 drops of Sandalwood
• 13 drops of Vetiver

Then top up with 100ml of Jojoba or Sandalwood Seed Oil.

Aroma: Deeply relaxing 

Perfect for: Going to sleep (or helping someone else to!)

Story behind the blend...

I absolutely love Vetiver Essential Oil. When I first inhaled I felt immediately that it was providing amazing benefits to me. The grounding effect intrigued me and I wanted to find a way to combine it with other oils to create a soporific blend.

I was reading through a book of essential oil recipes and came across this blend. I really liked the pleasant and calming the aroma was and decided to give it to others to try. Both of my cousins who received it liked it so much that they contacted me to ask for more as it had become part of a bedtime routine for both families and one was unsure of how to get their son to go to sleep without it! So, if you want something to help you or a loved one sleep, this is the blend for you.

The 30ml ready made blend is one bottle of ready to use "Being Your Own Bestie". The 100ml kit contains:

• 10ml Lavender Essential Oil
• 10ml Indian Sandalwood Essential Oil
• 10ml Vetiver Essential Oil
• 100ml Jojoba Oil or Sandalwood Seed Oil
• 1 x 30 ml empty bottle to make it up

Also, once you have the essential oils, you can easily make more of the product just by buying more sandalwood seed or jojoba oil. 10ml of each of these essential oils will be enough to make litres of the blend (by which point, your passion for it might be starting to wane!).  Either way, they are lots of great blends to make with this combination of oils and, if you get Rose Essential Oil too, you can make the Timeless Facial Serum.
